This page describes browser storage used by Janta Ka Raj. Publication contact: jantakarajbusiness@gmail.com.
Public visitor identifier
The public site stores a random value named news_visitor in your browser's local storage. Local storage is browser storage, not a cookie. The site uses it to estimate one visitor per browser per India-calendar day. The value has no automatic expiry set by this application; you can remove it through your browser's site-data controls.
Administrator session cookie
When an administrator signs in, the site uses a news_admin session cookie to maintain protected access. It is HTTP-only, configured with SameSite protection, uses secure transport in production and expires after eight hours. It does not contain the administrator's password. Clearing it signs the administrator out.
Analytics and advertisements
Page openings and eligible configured image-ad impressions or clicks are sent to the publication's server for readership and campaign reporting. The visitor identifier is not used by this site for behavioural advertising. This site does not currently show a public cookie/analytics consent banner or preference centre. Any third-party services later enabled on the site may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their own policies.
Managing browser storage
You can clear or block local storage and cookies in your browser. Blocking them may affect visitor counting or administrator sign-in. YouTube content is requested from YouTube only after you choose to play a video. Contact jantakarajbusiness@gmail.com with questions about this policy.
